It is actually pretty common. My little dogs will occasionally do that. As long as his diet has not changed or is choking on something like raw hide and it is only occasionally it is fine.

Your puppy should be fine. Sometimes dogs just throw up to get something bad out of their system. Don't worry too much about it. If he is throwing up a lot then maybe you want to call a vet or take him to one. But as for right now just clean it up and let your dog relax. Maybe give him some food that is high in fiber. Just a biscuit or some bread or something like that. Fiber will help him digest whatever it is that's bugging him. Hope this helps =]

Maybe he ate something he wasn't suppose to. Make sure he doesn't have any access to any cleaning supplies or toxic material. Don't feed him nuts, raisins and grapes. Check your plants in your house, because there are some plants they are toxic to animals. You can look them up on the Internet. Keep an eye on him. If he is not drinking or eating and feeling down, tomorrow, than take him to the vet. It's only a few more hours and you will know more.

Wait and see if it continues. I know some ppl will say rush to the vet, what is wrong with you , you uncaring person, but as the mum of 3 boys and a golden retriever wait a bit...it may be some grass or some other thing they have chewed. If it continues and your puppy is not eating/drinking properly then go to the vet. Or acting weird..

If he is a tiny little chihuahua it is likely that he is hypoglycemic......or LOW BLOOD SUGAR. Put a small dab of Honey or Karo Syrup on your finger and wipe it on his tongue. Do it again in about 20 minutes, and then again in 20 more minutes. If this is the problem and it hasn't been going on to long he will probably show signs of improvement within just a few minutes. .........

This is a common problem with the tiny breeds! It just goes with the territory. He needs to eat more frequently, stay warm, little stress......give him time to relax!

If he doesn't stop........TAKE HIM TO THE VET!

Puppies do tend to throw up. They will investigate and eat anything and everything. Some things just don't agree with them.

Make sure that your puppy has plenty of clean water to drink and for the next few hours keep your eye on him. If he shows any other symptoms, please take him to the vet. However for now, just watch him.

well, i heard that it is normal for puppies to vomit every now and then, but i understand why you are panicing. first get your pup to the vet. that is one of the best thing you can do. and maybe the foam is something it ate while you were away. try to prevent your pup from eating it again. maybe its body couldnt digest it. and if it continues, go to the vet again, and listen to the vet. did this help?

Probably nothing, has he had his shots? As long as it quits and no diarrhea, he's probably just upset stomach. But diarrhea too is sign of parvo. I had a dog with a blockage, he kept nothing down so watch him closely what goes in must come out the opposite end. lol Good Luck!

Sounds normal, he may have mucus depending on the breed of dog.

Why don't you use the net to find out?

If you were that concerned you would have phoned a vets by now.

I suggest you research you dogs breed.

see a vet immediately, the white foam means he has either been poisoned or has poisoned himself, being that young you probably only have half hour to act but act quick!!
good luck!
