I really like the support groups on Yahoo Groups. I've joined groups ranging from my FRG to national level groups on there. I particularly use them to find groups in a new area when I'm getting ready to relocate. It's nice to have friends in the new area before you get there. MySpace often has similar groups.

You can also search for groups anywhere you network already. I know iVillage has a military families group that used to be pretty good although I haven't used it in years.

Some other national groups:

a simple google search will yield you TONS of different support forums. you just need to find the one that is the right fit for you.

I can personally recommend armywives.com and military.com as being sensible forums which give you accurate information and a swift kick in the butt when you need it , since they do not suffer fools who only want sunshine blown up their rear end.
