Staten Island Ferry ride ..free sail past the statue of liberty without paying for the tour! Take along your own beer/wine ot soda, drinks snacks on board are higher than in a store!
Save some money for a nice night out or a tour you really want, skip the tour buses, take a bus, or the subway, all go to the same spots!
there is alot to do here for little money if you want to..but living is expensive! Grab a time out magazine to see whats to do that week, what galleries are free or low cost, concerts in the park are also free and fun!!

As much as you can spare.
NYC is very expensive. Bus/Subway fare is $2.00 per ride One Way.
Buy a metro card to save money.
You can buy them in the subway.
They are available in different denominations.
