No because God's Word says that they will curse God.

I'd think it'd be so BORING around this place with nobody to play with anymore. We'd have to close up shop and take our toys down the road to P&S or something.
(Most people seemed to miss part 2 of your question because they were in rapture themselves about the endless possibilities of the 1st part of your question).
Let's see if all the Christians were taken away up in rapture - it would certainly make me believe that something unusual had occurred, but I'm not sure I'd assume it was the Rapture. I'd look for a simpler explanation - like communion wafer food poisoning, alien abductions, etc..

I'd crack open the champagne and celebrate the evolution of the human race into a more intelligent and logical species.
PS I bet you every single thing that I own that it never happens. The "rapture" was invented in the 19th century by an Irish lawyer called John Nelson Darby - hardly the word of god, is it?

ITS TIME TO PARTY!
No such thing as Rapture or a True Christian. That was made up by man in the 20th Century. Most of the followers of "Christ" were Hebrews did you know?
Doesn't the Bible in which you read state "That the meek shall inherit the earth"?
Read your bible dude.

Would it make me believe; probably not because there still would be no empirical proof that a deity did it rather than say a other lifeforms from different parts of the galaxy.
But to answer your original question, if I would only wonder where my husband was and why didn't he leave a note. However, I won't hold my breath for things that aren't going to happen.

I'd think, "wow, what are the odds that the crackpot who pulled the concept of 'the rapture' out of thin air in 1844 would be right?! If Jesus was worth his salt, he would have come up with that first!"

Nope, I would think they got tired of being wrong over when the Apocalypse would happen (something which these so call prophets have yet to get right). Along with the religious Christians using his name in vain to get what they want along with bullying.

No, it wouldn't make me believe.
I'd just think of mass suicide, driven by some 'sign' that the rapture came.

I would be happy that global warming would reverse with all the hot air and B.S. suddenly gone from the earth. And I am not an atheist!

I'll believe when I see the stars fall from the sky and start rolling down the street, like it says in the bible.
