Go to www.PetEdge.com. The have a great selection of shampoos & you can check with local pet stores if they have it or you can order some. But, Frontline would be better since it's applied once a month & will protect your dog from fleas & ticks. Plus it doesn't wash off.

if all else fails, there is always the take tweezers, gloves and cup of rubbing alcohol(because they can't drown in water) and yank them off. i am not sure what brands are available in India, but i would recommend a monthly flea and tick preventative.

Actually nothing really works,you can try no tix. What works is Boric powder, rub on well and the eggs die, so u will not get any more reproducing ticks.Do again, after a few days, to make sure.
