I have heard people say people who cuss like that have a bad spirit, what do you think?
I went to get lunch yesterday a young woman maybe 20 or so was saying the F-word every 8 or 9th word.
I almost ask her to stop I was with my 65 year old mom so it was embarrissing.
She kept looking at me like she was dareing me to say something.
What do you think should be done in a situation like that?
and do you think its a bad spirit? and the Holy Spirit in Christans provoke it?

No. I think she needs a better mother. Be thankful you had one who taught you better. Are there evil spirits in the world, absolutely. Do they recognize and hate the Holy Spirit? Yes. But to blame all things on evil spirits takes away too much responsibility from us as humans with free will.
So, my advice? Next time say something. Be respectful, be kind. Ask them to please stop. If they don't it is on them, but maybe God was presenting you with an oppourtunity and you missed it. Be strong. You can be a powerful witness.

I don't necessarily think it was a bad spirit, I just think it may have been someone who was not brought up to respect those around them...
As a Christian well actually just as a person I would have and have done both of the following...In a Wendy's' I would have said I respect your right to say what you like, but out of respect for my mother and the small children in this establishment would you please refrain from using the F word...I honestly am surprised that none of the moms said anything, I have seen them unleash before =) If said with politeness and respect this does work..
In a Restaurant where you are sitting and eating your meal, I would casually excuse myself and go and ask the manager to say something with the table..usually they can get away with this without baring too much meanness from the customer, because they can quietly say they have had several complaints...I have done this as well and it works, most of the time...I have seen the manager go over, and if I keep hearing vulgarities or foul language for an additional 5 minutes, I will personally say something...I do not want to heat crude and vile language when I am paying for any meal...
I do not think the Holy Spirit provokes this because there is a Christian in the room, I think it is their lack of the Holy Spirit that lets them think it is ok to speak in public (or anywhere) in that matter.

I would have been a jerk, but you wouldn't have got her thrown out - these places sell themselves to the highest bidder and unfortunately that's someone in there eating.
I hate swearing for both genders and all ages (I think you just said 'woman' because here that was the subject), although its worse in an eight year old, who also looks like a slightly worse word for tart.
I don't believe in bad spirit - I just think she doesn't have a good enough vocabulary to properly articulate her point.

I think it sounds horrible especially from a woman's mouth. I do not believe it is a bad spirit I believe it is a lack of manners and class.
Personally I ignore such behavior. We cannot control others but we can control how we choose to react or respond.

Bad spirit I don't think so. But rude yes. I normally don't have a problem cussing around adults. But I hardly ever cuss anyhow. But I don't cuss around children at all.

Girly Q is a hypocrite; no one can call themselves Christian and then say they cuss all the time. It's offensive and should be kept in the bathroom because it is toliet talk. Most of the time it is just from bad upbringing and more often stress in our lives. Hopefully this girl at Wendy's will grow up and learn to act properly in society.

I think the spirit of sin dwels in all people. We need to control that spirit.

People who use explatives as often as she did have a very limited vocabulary at their disposal nothing more nothing less..
She was likely looking at you because you were looking at her first..
If you were so offended by her speech you should have spoken to Wendy's management or left..

Yes, your love for Jesus set off the little servant of Satan in her and...
Or more likely, she was a sufficiently good reader of body language and other visual cues to determine that you're the sort of person likely to be offended.
