I'm not sure, but it actually makes sense to me that it might darken brown eyes, because of the following: Caucasian children are almost all born with blue eyes. It's only when a child is exposed to sunlight that the eyes gradually start to turn brown if the pigment is present, even though the presence of the pigment is determined genetically. Since this is true, I have to think that sunlight might make brown eyes a darker brown, at least to a degree, even in adults. I've never heard of it changing the eyes of a blue-eyed adult, however; I'm guessing that's because the pigment isn't there to be stimulated in the first place.
So - no certainty here, but an educated guess, for what it's worth :-)

Neither. Sun exposure screws your eye vision over in the long run. So, depending on the amount of melanin in your eyes, wear eye protection. I have rich green-rimmed brown eyes, so I use minimal protection. Blue-eyed people, be careful!

It won't make any difference to the colour, but too much sunlight can certainly damage your eyes

The color of your eyes is genetic, and does not change according to sunlight.. or any other outside circumstance, for that matter
