Yes, they've had many kings, but the two Koreas currently have a "Dear Leader" (north) and a president (south).

I've linked a list of all of the kings that Koreans are taught they descend from.

o'coz! From the very first kingdom (Jeoson) to the last one (Koryo). When Japan came to invade Korea, Japan took the last crowned prince to become its hostage. When Korea regained its independence in 1945, and declared itself to be a republic in 1948, Korea started presidential system and since then ruled by a president.

yes they did once upon a time before the Japanese invasion. They killed the king and made sure the country wouldn't have any continuatin of the royal family. I hope there is at least one royal family though.
