Nope, it actually makes me laugh! It feels good to know that you can stand up to all of the opposition in the world and remain true to your faith. :)

NOPE...I try and answer questions with thoughtful answers, I feel that when I answer it's truthful and correct. If I get thumbs down I'll wonder why, if it's something wrong with my answer I'll thank them for it and learn from it. But it has to be a good reason for it and not just because it's not the 'popular' answer.
A lot of times, if it's a correct answer people won't like it, if it's something that makes them uncomfortable. So, thumbs up or down it doesn't matter, you can't bat 100% all the time anyway...I have an excuse for that...I'm human!

Not really. It makes me feel good when I get a thumbs up- especially if I get a best answer cause then I get points for it.

When I give people a thumbs down, I don't do it to hurt their feelings, I do it because I either disagree with what they say, or it is completely false.

I wish we could still give questions the thumbs down.

Not hurt feelings, but I do wonder why I get thumbs-downs on answers I give about guitar playing--which I know. I well understand the negative thumb on religious topics and those that disagree with me, but when someone gives a thumbs-down on a music answer I know to be true will certainly raise questions for me.

No, not at all. I look at the rest of the posters and quickly understand who gave me the thumbs down and why. You have to realize that this is seem as a popularity contest by many folks. Others have an agenda that they wish to achieve. The REST of us are here to get genuine questions and recieve genuine, thoughtful answers. I see NO need to take things as a personal attack. It's just a way oof entertaining myself and if I can help out a few folks while I'm at it, so much the better. I also LOVE the sily and jokeful questions and have come to look forward to those of the regulars. This DOESN'T have to be 100% serious ALL the time and a little humor actualy breaks up the monotony of the same old questions being asked over and over again in different ways. Life's TOO short to take the criticism of a ffew and let it generate enemies in your life. Having ONE enemy in your life is having TO MANY. But there's no such thing as having too many friends. That's MY outlook on things, so I don't take thumbs down to heart at all.

Not most of the time, because I answer a lot of atheists questions and I know I will get thumbs down. Sometimes it bothers me if I answer a Christians question and put a lot of thought into it and they choose some answer off the top of the list that is not very good. It makes me think they probably didn't even bother to read the questions further down. God bless!!

I know I'm doing good when I get 14 thumbs down and 1 or 2 thumbs up. It feels good, kind of like a burning in my bosom.

Yes, of course. But what I would be more interested in, is why the thumbs down.

Oh, don't let them get ya down.
I think sometimes folks are a lot meaner when they are safely behind the keyboard/monitor!
Sounds like you're sensitive, nothing wrong with that. Heck, me too! (But not about this stuff, it's all about putting it in perspective)
You just have to learn what to shrug off. So, some little pastel colored hands aren't pointing in the direction you wanted them to???
So what! It's just other people and their opinions! And you know that there are those that just like to be mean anyway.Just as there are those that are very kind.

Don't sweat the small stuff honey!

Naahhh. It's only thumbs down. not thumbling down the stairs from KLCC right? If yess you'll not just hurt your feeling your body also. Anyway this is internet... you can add thumbs up if it makes you happier. Take thumbs down as thumb down, not other meaning as... your answer is sucks, your idea is idiot, or you are out of date. Human are unique. So you can't expect to gain same opinion over, and over and over and over...

Thumbs down do not injury my thoughts. They tell me what human beings fairly concept approximately my message. (different than people who slap thumbs down in each single place. Then i comprehend it rather is not severe, such as you pronounced.) What does get me is while human beings record my solutions or block me. I stand enterprise in the back of what I pronounced, and that i do my maximum suitable to inform the actuality without calling somebody an entire fool.
