The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.
The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.
In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.
According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel, “The Platonic trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity of attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine persons taught by the Christian churches. . . . This Greek philosopher’s [Plato, fourth century B.C.E.] conception of the divine trinity . . . can be found in all the ancient [pagan] religions.”—(Paris, 1865-1870), edited by M. Lachâtre, Vol. 2, p. 1467.
John L. McKenzie, S.J., in his Dictionary of the Bible, says: “The trinity of persons within the unity of nature is defined in terms of ‘person’ and ‘nature’ which are G[ree]k philosophical terms; actually the terms do not appear in the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose as the result of long controversies in which these terms and others such as ‘essence’ and ‘substance’ were erroneously applied to God by some theologians.”—(New York, 1965), p. 899.

The History of Christianity, published by Peter Eckler, explains:
“If Paganism was conquered by Christianity, it is equally true that Christianity was corrupted by Paganism. The pure Deism of the first Christians, (who differed from their fellow Jews only in the belief that Jesus was the promised Messiah,) was changed, by the Church of Rome, into the incomprehensible dogma of the trinity. Many of the pagan tenets, invented by the Egyptians and idealized by Plato, were retained as being worthy of belief.”
“Worthy of belief”? Do you agree? Jesus Christ clearly stated that his true disciples must “worship the Father in . . . truth.” (John 4:23, 24) Yes, our worship must be in harmony with the truth found in God’s Word, the Bible. This includes acceptance of Jesus Christ as “the Son of God,” not God the Son! (John 20:31; 1 John 4:15) It requires that we firmly reject all pagan religious falsehoods. The magazine that you are now reading has, for over a hundred years, helped millions o

The foundation of the Trinity identical to all different fake doctrine originated at historic Babel or Babylon. The historic Babylonians worshiped trinities or triads comparable to Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz. They additionally worshiped the pagan Sin,Shamash and Ishtar. The Egyptians worshiped Isis,Osiris and Horus as a trinity. The phrase trinity isn't even located within the Holy Bible. It's a pagan doctrine that crept into an apostate variety of Christianity.

The Trinity consists of three beings, God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. All one God, just different. Many people believe that God the Holy Spirit was Paul, formerly known as Saul but I see him as the Anti-Christ. He started Testimonials which glorify evil, He judged people to death and his books were brags about what he did. Thats not a Man of God to me.

2 things that Jesus said reinforce the belief that God is 3 personalities in one force: Jesus said, "I and My Father are one." He also said, of the Holy Spirit, "I must go that He may come to comfort you." This was His reassurance to His followers that they would be able to continue to communicate with God after Jesus' return to Heaven, because the Holy Spirit would come here in His stead. And that is exactly what did happen on the day of Pentecost. Read Acts 2 for a fuller description of this mighty event.

that's interesting b/c I asked a question about the book of Genesis. In it God says Let US make man in OUR image & I was curious to know who US and OUR is being that those are plural. Some of the respones were that it was referring to the trinity or God, the son, & the holy ghost. But if the trinity was not in existence at that time I still wonder who is US and OUR is.

YES! THE HOLY SPIRIT is an inspiring knowledge and truth to the Christians and non-believers as well. As a background where three is one in absolute truth is another reality because they do not happen or occur in our natural world or environment. Thus, in physical sense, sometime in 1931 an Indian Mathematician submitted his studies to Europe Society of Math-Scientists. However, his theory was rejected. As a result, he forwarded his theory to Einstein and favorably indorsed it to the scientific society and was called BOSE-EINSTEIN theory. Later, a goup of scientists studied this theory and found it true in 1991. In practical application was the invention of the laser beam. What was this theory proven true all about. Thus, when atoms are subjected to an artifical environment like subjecting them with strong magnetic field and the temperature almost approaching zero the atoms became one, as one internally. In contrast, when husband and wife are joined together in their offsprings they are merely one externally. This means that their oneness is merely at the molecular level not in the atomic level. Similarly, the ordinary lights have electrons that are one externally and so generate scattered lights. On one hand, an example of one internally is likened to the laser beam where the electrons move into one direction only and not with scattered lights. But this reality is an induced reality by the knowledge of men. But if internal oneness is attainable by mere men as millions of atoms become one internally, it will be truer and possible to the realm of THE EVERLASTING FATHER AND THE LORD GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT as they can be one internally-absolutely one; and they can also be three distinct Being or Persons. In spiritual sense, Isaiah 9:6 states A CHILD is born to us; and the government will be upon HIS shoulder (as King of Kings ) and HIS name will be called THE EVERLASTING FATHER; MIGHTY GOD; WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, PRINCE OF PEACE .Thus, THE EVERLASTING FATHER is the LORD JESUS CHRIST in human image and the COUNSELOR is THE HOLY SPIRIT which is composed of EMMANUEL -GOD in the Spirit; then the seven spirits before GOD'S THRONE; then the spiritual communion of the Prophets and Saints; then in the spirits are the angels all around the throne of THE LORD GOD; and the image of this HOLY SPIRIT as a working messenger is in the image of a woman which is none other than VIRGIN MARY. Thus, THE HOLY SPIRIT is a representative of any from the above members to be sent by THE LORD GOD -THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. And so when Paul of Tarsus encountered THE HOLY SPIRIT it was in the image of a ball of light, that light was an angel but will not speak of his own but what HE will speak is what HE hears and when the angel of light talked to Paul HE said I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. Similarly, the HOLY SPIRIT was in the image of a Prophet Nathan when GOD told Nathan to confront King David of his adulterous relations with Bathsheba. Likewise, the HOLY SPIRIT was in the image of Archangel Gabriel when he was sent to Virgin Mary. Also, the HOLY SPIRIT was in the image of Virgin Mary in the appartions of Fatima and Lourdes. Thus, the EVERLASTING FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST-THE SON OF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT are one and the same. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD. I believe that the term "Trinity" was coined by St. Hilary of Poitiers, an early father of the Church. Here's a link that you can take a look at and perhaps read what he had to say. . . .

Well you have the origins there in your question.
What I think wouldn't be well accepted here, lots of thumbs down I'm sure.
But my thoughts, briefly, are it doesn't make sense Biblically at all.
