Okay, so long story short, I've given up on my parents, because they have showed me over and over that they will use and drop me, don't think this is some teenage out cry, read my previous questions because I can't take this anymore with trying to mend this all, how can I seperate from my parents and just live on my own or whatever? Not like foster parents or anything just like to say we have no legal binds anymore, just let it go or whatever, I'm 15 and turn 16 in september, I see no other choice, for one example to those who too lazy to read my other questions, my dad has stolen from my wallet while I was sleeping and I haven't talked to him since he started his company 3 years ago. Thanks so much for the help, this is my only choice now, they are holding me down and not the parenting way, this has to end now. How do I get the papers and what do I need them to sign?

You're only 15, you really don't have many options at this point. Once you turn 16 there may be more choices. If you go to child and family services and explain the situation, they may give you some support to get your own place. Not everywhere does this, but I knew a girl that got funds to move out at 16. You may be expected to get a job, or otherwise demonstrate some responsibility. Good luck to you.

I am sorry I have not read your first question, but i see you are only about 16. I hope you are able to take care of yourself in the world. I don't know all the things you have been through but I just don't know if you have anywhere to go and have a roof over your head and be with a person that you can really trust. People will try and take advantage of young ones like you. It sounds like you have had or are having it rough at home. Do you have away to get around? There is a lot to think about. You can get emancipated but I am not real sure about the requirements for it. You should look it up on the net. You need to have all your ducks in a row before you leave or do something serious. I know they are your parents and they got you to your 16th birthday somehow. I guess you buy all your own clothes and stuff too. maybe you are paying rent and buying food also. I hope you are able to think about what you are wanting to do. This is a big step. Once you do this you can't take it back. Hope it works out for you...

Um, you're almost 16---you can't be emancipated, if that's what you're asking. The ONLY way you can be is if you can prove tangibly that you're able to support yourself. That means a job, continuing school, a place to live, pay your bills.
Most kids have to be able to show this for at least 6 months to a year before a judge will consider it. You have to be able to demonstrate a level of maturity that is above and beyond reproach. This is damn near impossible at your age.

The only other choice you have is other family members to live with or foster care.

I have read some of your other questions. Your Dad is a joke as one of my young co-workers continually says. He is not a Dad; he is a sperm donor. There are meetings for children of alcoholics. I think it is called alateens or something like that. Look up Alcholocis Anonymous on the web. From there you can find a meeting for friends and relatives of alcoholics. It is free and you will find a lot of love there. Good luck.

Try calling social services, if they can't take care of a child they should have kept thier legs closed in the first place. many teens feel trapped becuase thier lives are RULED by the parents which in some cases i feel thats totally wrong, you are your own person and its your choice not thiers if you want to leave, so try that
