I have recently bought a new laptop with Vista Home Premium installed. Everything works fine, but after 1 day my IE stops working and i get , " A problem caused the program to stop correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So i check windows updates and none. Has anyone come across to this problem? Is there a way i can re-install IE7? or fix the problem? Thanks

I dont think it is an IE7 problem. I found so many problems on day one after buying a similar laptop. Vista has built in security that is very paranoid and would not let you use your own computer. You need to learn to tweak the security settings.

Go to Vista forum websites and read some of the posts. Many older XE programs are not compatible with Vista. Irate new and old microsoft annoyed users tell their problems there as well. The IE is really not as significant as some of the other problems encountered.

I have Firefox and IE and dont have problems with those. I suggest that you phone the place where you bought it and see if their technicians can troubleshoot over the phone.

If u have installed any toolbars, then uninstall it and restart the computer and then try internet explorer.

I would suggest u to switch over to Mozilla Firefox.

Here is the link to download Firefox.
