i dont know if its still open, but the hole is definitely still there, i was wondering if i'm going to have that hole forever. and what about the scar tissue? will it just surround the hole? or will it form new skin?!

You'll probably always have the hole. I took mine out several years ago, and there is still a small hole. I'm not sure what you mean about scar tissue.
