Come on you stupid people. Just because people are athiests doesn't mean we are wrong about god. God may not be real. Christians don't have real proof that god is real because the bible could just be a story and mary could have actually screwed joseph or she could have been metally insane. None of the things christians say can be proven factual nor can athiets. No one will never actually know. Well, that is what I believe. Now tell what you think please.

Dear odd one out,

Christians base their beliefs on the Bible. (i know you have your opinion of people who believe in the Bible). But respecting your position- the question becomes where does man's sense of right and wrong come from.

When people decide for themselves what's right and wrong we see that there is much conflict about that and ultimately is someone right or wrong.

i don't believe all Christians think Atheists are terrible people. i'm a youth pastor and i love my brother with all my heart- even though he doesn't believe in God. i find him to be a very moral person- but we're not comparing people- our lives are compared to God's standards.

Anyhow i hope this respectfully answers your question. You attack a lot of other points- which are just way to long to address. Christianity does have solid ground and basis- even though you may choose not to accept it- and even to belittle it. But i am just simply answering your question and not writing a several page thesis- to answer all of the other questions you've brought up.

Kindly,

Nickster

I curse because they are only words, and I may chose them as I wish or see fit I don't nor will I ever have pre-marital sex, just because I see it as wrong I don't don't risky things because I don't want to die (#Duh) I don't gamble because I am not an idiot who wants my money to go away (I will not even when I'm old enough, for my father has a gambling addiction and I have learned from his mistake) I accept that I sin. You cannot possibly live without some sort of sin. I ask myself for forgiveness from my sins, because I have not succumbed to being dependent on a deity. I am a clean cut teenage girl whom many people love to be friends with. I do not fool myself that I am a good person via going to church every Sunday. I am simply nice to the people I meet and try to make life as great as possible for myself, my friends, my family, and my peers. I defend those whom I see being put down, especially other religions, gays, and ethnicities. I yearn for a peaceful society, yet accept that this cannot exist. I take care of three beautiful neices and one nephew every time I must, and have raised them as far as any aunt could. I devout myself and my life to the people in this world, rather than two people I have never seen nor spoken to. I give great and philosophical advice, and give to the world my power of creativity. For one day, I will be a great and praised writer. My most prized work is a story I'm working on right now and it is told through the eyes of a very faithful Christian. I seek to better myself by learning about all religions, and I have even read the entire Bible (working on re-reading it; research for my novel). I have perspective. So . . . am I as good as you morally?

They have been brainwashed by their religion to see anyone who doesn't believe as they do MUST be worshipping the devil and thus, they have no morals. There is an entire website dedicated to the fact that atheists are actively against the 10 commandments and has "proof" of that. Big waste of time because from what I've seen, atheists and other non-believers have more morals than any religious person.

EDIT: Bananaboatx3... no, I don't have any proof that god doesn't exist... because I can't prove a NEGATIVE. It is impossible. It is up to the believer to provide proof of existence not the non-believer to prove a negative.

"Remember that the burden of proof is on the person alleging the existence of something. If someone tells me that the Easter Bunny is hiding in somebody's clothes closet somewhere in North America, there is no need for me to search every closet on the continent. The person making the claim has to produce the rabbit or stop wasting my time."

It is not People, it's in the Bible, to be atheists you have to believe there is no God, so your having faith that your right, and they have faith there is A God, so you have Faith, and are all the same, and choose whom to follow just like them.
think about that. Your right and so are they, You choose good or evil, and what God your following too. So no God you choose evil, and if your right and everyone else has no idea. Then there is no one out to love the lost or care about us all.
But i hope that to agree that faith is a decision and making that decision is following their beliefs.

Here's the deal:

To begin with, we are not stupid. The majority of great scientific discoveries have been made by people who believe in God (mostly Christians, but not all). The majority of invention has been done by people who believe in God (again, mostly Christian, but not all). That should tell you that just maybe God had something to do with their discoveries and inventions.

Besides those facts which cannot be denied by anyone, when we die, if Christians find that we are totally wrong and there is nothing, then we have nothing to lose by believing. However, if athiests find that we were right all along, they have EVERYTHING to lose by not believing. So, you do the math. I would rather have nothing to lose than everything to lose.

They don't need reasoning, they believe because that's what they were taught as small children.
My question is "where did god come from" they will say he always was but won't be willing to consider life always was. Religion doesn't make sense from the beginning. How can the first life form be the Gods?
Like science fiction you have to believe the first few words then it is easy.
All humans have invented gods to explain the unexplainable.

Well, simply being a Christian means that you have to think that atheists are wrong. If you are a Christian, you believe in God, it's as simple as that. As for proving that God exists, I have come to accept that I can't. It is a feeling of faith and awe that you simply can't fully reason out in the human mind. Sorry, I didn't realize that I left morals out of this. Morals are definitely separate from religion and not all atheists have the same morals, so I can't say that all atheists are completely morally wrong.

Yeah i agree with this. I mean, I am not an atheist but I get along better with most atheists than with most religious types. they are too, I don't know contrived and unspontaneous a lot of the time. Anyway its stupid to believe that atheists are neccesarily immoral. Dumb Dumb Dumm.

I do have proof. God proves Himself to me everyday in my life. He has shown SO many miracles. We saw a girl in a wheelchair get up and WALK after my pastor prayed for her. That, my friend, is a miracle from God.

I want some proof that God isn't real. Have none, do you? And don't say "there is so many bad things in the world! wouldn't He stop it?"

No, because God gave us FREE WILL. We do these things to each other. Not God.
