The best way for anyone to lose weight, regardless of age, is to exercise and eat healthier than you previously were. Science has shown that diets DO NOT work; you may lose the weight, but as soon as you are off the diet, the weight comes back. A healthy LIFESTYLE is much better than anything else that you can ever do. It may take longer to achieve your goal this way, but the effects are more likely to last a lifetime.
One other thing to consider: you are not done growing yet. You need a little extra fat right now to compensate for when you are growing. I know that it is not fashionable, but take it from someone who used to look dorky and doesn't anymore; in the long run, the most important thing that you can do at this age is stay healthy, regardless of whether you are as skinny as the models on the magazine covers.

Well your weight isn't bad at all so I don't know why you want to loose weight! The worst thing you can do, especially at your age is hate yourself because of what you weigh. But, if you do want to loose weight to get healthier start running/jogging around your neighbor hood, or take up a sport (that's what I did), and what ever you do, DO NOT become anorexic or bulimic, that will make you unhealthy. But joining a team sport is by far the best way to go!
DO NOT listen to the person who said to eat only 250 calories a day..that is WAY TO LITTLE (probably would be considered anorexia), at your age (because you body is still growing you need at least 2,000 calories a day if not more) and actually eating healthier food more frequently throught the day will help you loose weight, and don't eat empty calories (junk food)

gurl, I'm 15 years old and I weigh 130, but I'm also 5 foot 5 so, that does make a difference on height. But, still, you shouldn't sweat it because it's not like you're obese or overweight. People all the time call me skinny so, IDK. But, If you must lose weight, the best thing for you to do is drink plenty of water, eat healthy food, and most importantly, exercise for about 30 minutes a day. I hope I helped a lot!!!

you are a very good size but I understand that you don't want to gain any more weight. 20 pounds maybe a little un-realistic try setting your goals 5 pounds at a time that way when you reach one goal you are motivated to set another one and it seems easier. 5 pounds is easier to lose than 20 so just do that 4 times!!! the main thing that you should do is add low impact exercise like walking and swimming and drink lots of water (no soda) and cut out sweets you will lose

look at it this way. how did you GET those 20 pounds in the first place? i know its an american thing to want cures instead of preventives so i'll skip the lecture and give you the solution. you are overweight because you ate too much of the wrong sort of junk. no two ways about it. to fix the problem is going to take a few months. you need ton eat enough (keyword is enough...not more than necessary) of the right kins of foods. you don't need me to tell you what the right foods are. eat enough. jog a bit (a bit...you're not gabrielle haile selassie), lift a bit of weights every other day and you'll be fine. important thing is to stick with the schedule. good luck

DON'T DIET !!!!! Dieting is dangerous. If you have friends in your neighborhood, go on a walk everyday (unless it is snowing, raining, etc.) because that helps. And DON'T drink slim quick because that runs right thru you and you will hog the bathroom for hours! Try going to a local Gym or go to the pool and just hang out. Also, if you swim you will get a nice tan along with your 110 pounds. If you like strawberries, try eating Special K (with red berries or any type of special K Brand) 2 times a day for 2 weeks. I lost 12 pounds doing that, and now i have a hot bf. Like i said, DON'T DIET! Also, you don't seem to be that big so if you don't loose major pounds, be happy that you are young because your friends like you for you and not your body. (Boys do, But they are kind of retarded sometimes lol)

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you eat what you want in small amounts you'll be more likely to keep with it than if you limit yourself to carrots and lettuce. The same goes for exercise. If you hate doing situps and running then try swimming and yoga. Find what you like and what fits you and you'll be more likely to stick with it and therefore you'll get better results.
Also, I noticed one girl mentioned eating cereal. That is a must. I recently read in a magazine that people who eat cereal once a day are on average 10 lbs lighter than those who don't. pick a cereal with plenty of fiber and no processed sugars that you like. I personally am a huge fan of Kashi autumn wheat.

You don't need to lose 20 pounds! 5 or 10 at the most. If you go below that, it is just unhealthy! just run on your exercise equipment if you have any (treadmill, elliptical, etc.) or just go outside and walk or jog with a friend. Just get motivated to exercise and you will do great!
