That's what my Seminary teacher, Bro Halliday, in Rigby Idaho taught us circa 1987ish. Is there official Mormon doctrine to support or rebuke this?

Drittz - If this is false.. Well. Then a Man supposedly called of God was teaching false doctrine, perhaps he had some kind of hidden agenda. (Doesn't remind me of ANYBODY.. Nope? Who could that possibly remind me of? I just can't think of it?)

Looking back, seminary teachers were some of the strangest people around. It's their job to study church history. They have to find a way to justify all the flaws in the mormon church, otherwise they wouldn't have a job. They come up with all these wacky extreme theories, and bring up more doubt and questions in their students than they answer. My seminary teacher contributed greatly to my leaving the mormon church. He thought I was a satan worshiper because I was doodling Van Halen art on my seminary binder. (I don't believe in satan, but I definitely believe in Van Halen)

Seminary teachers go out on a limb every now and then. Apparently he was referring to the ability to create spirit children will only in the highest kingdom, and everyone else will not have that ability, or won't want any kids anymore. Either this is due to a physical 'impairment' (which can't be because the resurrection restores "everything"), or the desire will be absent. I doubt that, too.
Personally I think there will simply be no privacy to be discrete with Jesus and all teaching the same ol' stuff again and again and aga...
Drizzt studies the Afterlife? Does he take field trips and stuff?

*sigh* No, Cheese and Rice, it is false. I have never heard that before, and I have studied the Afterlife quite a bit, and I would have heard it if it was there.
EDIT: har har. i could feel the sarcasm all the way. Joseph Smith was a man, yes, but not with a hidden agenda. as to your teacher, how do I know you aren't lying? you lie about enough on here.
EDIT: maybe you (he) just took it to an extreme, they will not be neutered, that I know of, but they will be unable to have eternal increase, aka, have children for the eternities. Who knows, they might be neutered, but that has never been said.

I think that was just "the Gospel according to Bro Halliday" I have studied the scriptures, and although I would never say I am anywhere close to being a scriptorian, I think I would have at least seen a reference to that before now if it were true...

I've never heard that one before, but perhaps it's someones interpretation of the doctrine that to get all the blessings of a Celestial Marriage you must qualify for the Celestial Kingdom.
We believe that marriage can be for eternity if you obey the laws associated with that blessing.

I've heard people speculate over this, but it is not doctrine. It's taught that only those married in the Celestial kingdom will be able to have children.

Well, everything is supposed to be brought back in the resurrection...probably even if we have no use for it- just like how we have apendixes and guys have nipples. I don't think anything will be missing IMHO.

That's just rediculous. Your teacher was way off base, if that's what he did teach.

I heard they become servants to the Gods and Goddesses, "kiss my boots slave" LOL...kind of like an eunuch, can't spell it, when the Israelites men were taken captive and they got their ca-honies cut off in Babylon (can't spell that right either).
