to deal with all these god freaks, I bring in this...
Isn't god omnipotent? If it is, then doesn't that mean we don't have free will at all, since everything we're going to do, it knows we're going to do anyways?
I don't believe in one god. I think the universe is too big a job for one god to do. Then again, that might explain why the world is such an awful place. God can't watch over everyone all the time. I think "God" itself is one big dissapointement. Think about how many awful people get off scott free when they've done horrible things, while good people get robbed, raped, and murdered. Would such a kind god who rewards good behavior treat innocent people that way? I think not.
God seems to make more messes than it stops. For instance, the Holy wars. Why wouldn't a good god stop horrible murders from happening in it's name?
That's why religions with reincarnation make more sense. even if you're a fairly good person in this life, in your past life you were evil, so you get punished in this one, and have to work even harder to achieve nirvana.
also, I have a problem with the idea that if you pledge your life to jesus, you immediately get into heaven. everyone on death row pledges their life to jesus. I don't think I want to go to heaven, if a bunch of murderers are going to be around.

God created us with something called AGENCY, that means that we are capable to choose what we do or don't do. That also means that He is not responsible for our actions, we are. People choose how they will react to anything that happens, Osama chose to do what he did, God did not make him, nor could He make him. God is unchanging, and for that to be true, He cannot change His laws after He has made them. Thus, He will not interfere in our choices-we will have to face the consequences, but He allows us to choose what we will

God doesn't make things happen, people make their choices. As hard as life is, belief in God is hope. Of course it is easier to point a finger. Actually most religions pray for forgiveness and the ability to forgive others.

Too bad you can't even SPELL Osama Ben Laden. God did make people, but God also made people with, what's that thing. . oh. FREE WILL. You should be disappointed with the Muslims who bombed our Twin Towers. Stop blaming the people's sins on God. It's getting old.

god gave souls free will. many souls could not leave fathers side for the loss of the love. some souls rebeled against the love they wanted dominion so this place was created. The point is free will, god is sad that we choose to come here but he does not control , the fallen one has control on this place. The way back to father is the love/fellowship path. It is our own free will that makes us who we are .

People >choose< to be disappointed in/with God. People have expectations regarding what, and how, they believe God should act, or what God should do.
It the belief in these expectations that causes their disappointment.

no one who has studied the Bible would say 'God does not disappoint people'. Life is full of disappointment, because the present world is good vs. evil. God vs. satan. God did not make people do those things. satan did.

Well, I have never been dissapointed in god, but I will admit that I have been angry at him. But it was for a very short time.
