Don't have to. Your kind said this personal god exists, so you prove it. Well? I'm waiting. Don't go to a book written by men to control men for proof, since it's not proof. Well, I see that you are not going to even try. That's OK, believe in your sky fairy if you want, just don't try to force me into doing things that support your belief.

The trouble is, if you reason that way, you won't be able to prove the following do not exist:

--The Eternal Giant God-Swiffer
--The God-Eating Zombie-Monster
--The Cosmic High-School Kid Who Keeps It All Inside Until One Day He Buys a Gun and Shoots Up God

With these things existing, how can any God survive? Oh, you don't believe in them? PROVE they don't exist.

Believing or not believing, it's not a mirror-image situation that's equally likely. One is in harmony with our unchanging, God-free physical universe, the other clashes with it. Where is this God hiding? If you say some "non-material realm" you have to PROVE that a non-material area exists, it just ADDS to the things you have to prove. And remember, only scientists have discovered invisible things and made them known: planets past Saturn, X-rays, and so on. Show me where religious people have brought forth hidden things. All they seem to do is endlessly rehash suppositions, play on fears, and coerce people into believing their STUPID, STUPID, STUPID garbage.

Religion is what would happen if crap could take a crap.

God exits. But what that means exactly I have zero desire to pin down. I am grateful for everything in my life without judgement, treat all people fairly and then some, strive to make a difference on this planet every waking moment and perhaps in my sleep if I really understood all things.

Anything smacking of religion seems to have greed and control through fear and guilt written all over it. Not a god-like life really is it?

Believe what you will and I will believe what I choose. When you step over that line it is not God-like it is government-like and becomes frightening.

Am I somehow excluded from your concept of everyone because I sincerely hope that nobody can prove the existence of God. If the Abrahamic God exists then we are living in the spiritual equivalent of the Soviet Union complete with eternal gulags.

The Earth is millions of years old and in all that time not one tiny single piece of evidence has come to light to show the existence of a god or gods. That's close enough for me

How do you know he exists? You don't. You can't say the bible because who knows if it actually is true. No one knows what he looks like either because they never descriped him in the bible. Also, the jesus thing can also be fake because come on how could mary not have sex with joseph. Also it is basically impossible. And who knows maybe mary was metally insane and just imagine that god talked to her.

What, It wasn't enough to prove he did not exist before?
The arguments I love hearing are from the Christians telling me God does not exist and that they think that is what makes God real.

Hahahaha....you have just proven an Agnostic's point of view. Group A can't proove the existence of a higher power while Group B can't proove that a higher power doesn't exist; yet each believe that they are right. Why don't you just realize it's out of your hands, believe what you want and don't what others do or don't believe.

hard to prove a negative. I have not seen or heard him, nor did he ever answer my prayers when I was a child. hard to believe in god when good people die and yet bad people live.
Meaning this John Doe a husband, father dies in a car accident due to icy road conditions; yet John Smith shot four people, stole a car. evade the police in a hot pursuit; smashes into a telephone poles and lives.
Come on... Why? Why did the good person die and not the bad person?

See things like this makes me wonder and think that god does not exist. If he is a loving god then he would not allow harm to come to those who are good, only allow harm to come to those who are bad.

Edit
The question is are you truly will to accept our answers if they go against your belief?

The burden of proof is on the one making the claim.

And you don't know any gods exist - it's just your belief.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
