Yes. Let us rid the doctrine of the end of the world from the silly, unscriptural interpretations which Christendom has attached to it and which have led to unreasonable conduct. The end of the world does not mean the destruction of our globe and of the material creations in the sky. It means the end of Satan the Devil’s wicked organization invisible and visible. Christendom has made herself a part of his organization, although she claims to be the “house of God”. For this hypocrisy she will receive the severer judgment and will be the first part of this world to end.

Millions today on earth appreciate that the “new heavens” and the “new earth” are immediately ahead of us. They do not fear the end of the present old world, even though it is to take place as if in a fire enveloping both heaven and earth. They know from the reliable Word of the Creator of all things that our literal earth will survive just as it did at the finish of the first world in the days of their forefather Noah.

By 'world' do you mean our tiny planet, human life on this planet, our solar system, the galaxy in which Earth is so tiny a part it comes within a narrow inch of not existing, or the universe, which is so vast that the Milky Way, our galaxy, comes within another narrow inch of not existing--it's one of trillions of galaxies? If you mean the human race and our planet, yes, both will come to an end. Primates...including our variety, our species...will become extinct a few million years before our middle-size star, the sun, begins to expand. Soon enough, in, oh, a million years or so after the expansion begins, it will engulf our solar system, including Earth, Mars, Venus, and all the other planets. Eventually the star will explode, will die as all stars do. The end. Sorry, a Bronze Age god ain't gonna have a dang thang to do with it...if for no other reason than none of the thousands of gods invented by humans exists, never have, never will.

Yes the world will end.

It's written in the bible.

Let's read Matthew 24:35

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

So it's not only the earth that shall pass away but the heaven as well.

Apostle Peter wrote in 2 Peter 3:10

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

But not to worry because new heavens and a new earth is prepared by God.

2 Peter 3:13

"Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

That depends on the definition of "The World".
What world is coming to and end? The planet Earth, the humans society, the Christian world, the living things in this planet, the Solar System, the Milky Way, the entire Universe or maybe my life?

Some fools say, "Nothing is forever".
I say, "God is forever".

I believe that something is changing in this world.
That which is changing in the world is man.
Man is failing to believe in a quality called Faith.
Man is starting to even deny the existence of God.
When the majority of humans feel this way the Chains that are at this moment binding the evil one will be melted away and the Grace that has protected man for thousands of years will
not be their to protect man. When this happens, Gods vice regent will be returned to earth to take on this evil.

Forgive me for I know not the time or place, but this time is drawing nearer as we speak. All the signs are in place but
one, the final sign.
This is not from the Holy Bible, or the Scriptures, this is what has been told to me, will happen!

May that One God of Unlimited Grace and Unfathomable Mercy, protect us all................

I believe that the world will end but not as it is mentioned in the bible.
There are numerous possibilities fo how the world will end.
Nuclear war, asteroid colliding with the earth, the sun explodes, some other cosmic event.

Who knows.

Yes, of course the world will end. The Bible says so.

The world will end, but not necessarily how it is written in the Bible. A giant space rock will crash into the Earth...maybe the scientists will name the rock "God" or "Jesus"...in which case the Bible might be accurate.

Hello,

Definitly in about 3 billion years.
Three billion years' time: Some scientists expect the Andromeda galaxy to collide with the Milky Way at this point, bringing about a merciful end for humanity.

People believe all sorts of things, dont' they. The fact that people believe something does not necessarily mean it's true.

All of the people listed in the site below believed the world would end, too:
