As a Christian Pastor I see nothing wrong with "birth control" however I do see a problem with certain types.
1. Nothing that kills the egg after it has been fertilized.
2. No medications of any kind that will change the operation of a woman's or man's body.
3. If you want "no" or "no more" children, I believe that both should have tubes tied, cut, (whatever they do now).
This is *Not* a thus saith the Lord...Just my opinion.

I don't think there is an exact answer to that. Should Christians use birth control or not... If you are a Christian and believe what the Bible tells you about now having sex before marriage then you shouldn't have to worry about it. But if you are married and aren't in a situation where you'd like more children then I see no problem to it.

As a Christian you shouldn't have sex if you are not married to that person. But this is easier said than done. So You should take responsibility for your actions. If you feel OK with having sex without a commitment from your partner, than use birth control. But I hope you know that birth control on the market today are not 100% protection against pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease.
If you are married, this is a personal choice that is between you and your husband. God is the only one that will judge you. I am glad the option is there so you can decide on your families future.

I don't think any religion should keep anyone from taking birth control. There could be number of reasons why anyone take birth control beside to prevent pregnant. I was on it when I was young to due medical reason. Even for married Christian women as well.

While not all Christians will agree with what God would actually say about this question, the Bible does not give specifics one way or another on this issue.
So, I believe that each person that wants to do God's will (I'm speaking about those Christians who want to please God) should pray about what God wants. For some Christians, it will be to have as many children as they possibly can have.
For others, like myself, we looked at our situation and decided where we were financially, age-wise, and what we have going on in our life. We feel it was the right thing to do to have the amount of kids we have.
I think that ultimately, it's a case of having wisdom to discern what is best for our lives.

Yes, in some situation everyone should, if you don't want kids but insist on having sex (which is natural) yes, use all the protection you can.
And if you don't believe in using birth control than you might as well follow the old fashioned rule of waiting until marriage.

Christians are supposed to wait to have sex until marriage, so birth control should not be needed. After that, we were supposed to be fruitful and multiply, meaning do not use unnatural means to keep from getting pregnant.. so technically no birth control, but since the Earth is already populated, birth control is fine. Besides, there are worse sins you can commit.

edit: the answer's still yes...always their choice of course, but better to be prudent....

No. The gift of sex is a gift given by God to a husband and a wife. In the act, they express their love for one another and share in the procreative act with God in creating life. The purpose of sex is, first and foremost, procreation.
To use birth control is to accept God's gift of sex but to refuse the gift of life. To use birth control is an attempt to eliminate the possibility of life and, therefore, reduces the sex act to nothing more than an act of pleasure. In a way, it's like masturbating eachother to the point of climax (another gift from God--pleasure) and then denying God the ability to give you a precious gift that He might want you to have.

Well they should...but according to their religion no they should not. Good job to the Pope for all those deaths from AIDS and the so many unplanned pregnancies (often resulting in death for both mother and child) thanks to the enforcement of the religion that disapproves of birth control.
