I notice that nothing much happened around 2000/2001 like Mormons would have wanted you to believe.

The millenium, or "the second coming", has been prophesied to happen over and over again ever since Jesus died (assuming he actually existed). Every time that it doesn't happen, it just gets pushed back a few more years. 2008, and 2012 are now the tentative dates. How long will it take for people to realize it won't happen?

While the millennium saw celebrated in 2000. 2001 was the real beginning of the millennium....

Mormons were probably not the only ones who predicted the end ...... Jehovah Witness sect has predicted the end of the world several times...

If they' d only read the Bible. Jesus said "I will come like a thief in the night." Does anyone know what a thief will hit? Nope! So it with the end of the world...

Dude! Mormons were the ONE group of people saying that it probably would NOT happen then just because everyone thought it would. No one knows when it will happen, not even the Prophet.

But as for your answer...it will start when Christ returns to the earth to rule once again...whenever that may be. Remember, it was Christ himself who said that no one but the Father knows when that will be.

There are three rapture concepts according to christians, 1before the seven years of tribulation, 2. int the middle of the tribulation and 3. after the tribulation. FYI.

It actually was in 1999 when the Backstreet Boys released their 2nd album "Millenium" which included the hits "I want it that way" "Larger than life" "Show me the meaning of being lonely" and "Spanish eyes."

*Spanish eyes and Show me the meaning are my favorite ones!
