I think you are horribly confused. Why would one claim a faith that they didn't believe 100%? That's what makes no sense whatsoever. But I see it all the time. People will say that they don't agree with certain teachings of their faith, but they claim the faith anyway. That's just crazy.
But yes, my beliefs are exactly what my faith teaches and I have 100% faith in my beliefs.

Nope, I don't wonder. I never knew freedom like this before, even after getting sober at age 21 and finally coming to believe in a "power greater than myself". My life got way better, but I never knew it could be as good as it is now that I am a follower of Christ, since age 33 (I'm 37). A Christian was the LAST thing I EVER would have expected myself to become. I didn't force this thing, though; it happened TO me, and here I am, finally complete. Thank you, Jesus!

I am a Buddhist and we are not very big on faith. I did not become a Buddhist until I was in my mid forties so it was definitely a concious decision, made because Buddhism did not impose any belief structure at all, just encouraged understanding.

I did that a few years ago. The faith I had been in did not fit my beliefs about myself, the way things should be, and the way reality was defined. I am now a Zen Buddhist, which is a belief system that fits me very well.

faith is a gift and it's a gift that one chooses to receive and it can increase in one's life as they choose to accept it and apply it...you can live a life filled with a genuine relationship with God (godliness) and not be religious at all...The Holy Bible is bigger than all religiosity practiced. I don't think any of the 1st century true disciples chose to gain faith in order to fit their beliefs...they recieved faith by listening to the scriptural message undiluted and chose to change their beliefs accordingly...

My personal experience is from the age of 3 and Jesus has been so loving to me that even if I just died and that was the end, I wouldn't care because I have enjoyed HIm being with me and loving me so and caring for me even in bad times He never leaves me.

I've found that the best faith is no faith.
That means I decide how to live my life.

I feel very strongly that we do not find our faith or beliefs, they find us. I have no doubts that I am exactly where I need to be.

Faith is the ultimate evil: it is the deliberate rejection of the essence of one's humanity -- the ability to draw reasoned conclusions from evidence.
