I was raised all my life to believe in this scientific, metaphysical religion, but everything sounds true & makes sense, but the people who go there are hypocrites & don't practice what they preach. Also, in bible class, the people pop their gum & suck hard on their candy, making it hard for me to pay attention & concentrate. But I'm a grown woman, & everything they see me do, they always run back & tell my former foster mom & waits until she fusses at me to fall out laughing. & they always preach that you should help your bretheren out & if they don't have transportation, then offer them a ride. But if I need a ride, they tell me to go & ask my foster mom. & they laugh at me because of the way I dress & wear my hair & treat me like an outcast. & then because I have a mental disability, they look @ me like I'm crazy & think I want attention, when I don't. I want to go back to bible class, but all these issues are stopping me, & I don't wanna go to hell. Please help

ALL religious groups are cults.
Look it up!

I just had a look at the web site for this "religion". The founder claims he had one of/if not the most profound revelation known to man about God and preaching the Word (The Bible). That in itself is a huge sign that this is a cult.
I had a brief look at what his doctrine is, teachings etc. As a christian I would not touch it with a ten foot barge pole. This ministry and its participants who believe the lie will only confuse and disillusion you. Run for the hills and dont look back. You say you were raised all your life and believe in this scientific, metaphysical religion. You have been indoctrinated. Maybe the reason you don't fit there is that you are not meant to be there. It does not sound like an uninviting place to be - why are you still there?

If you have a mental disability you sure are good at using the computer. The thing you are asking about sound like it needs more study before it can be determined if it is a cult or not. If it is more about that man tha Jesus then it probably is a cult. If it denies GOD, Jesus or the Holy Spirit then it is a cult most definitely.

If look at logically, I would say yes. I think the only difference (aside from the negative connotation), is that the modern day term religion tends to describe a larger, more established religion. Christianity, when it first started, was one of many so called Mystery Cults in around the first century AD. Gradually it grew and flourished, eventually displacing the other cults in the region.

I really would not consider it a cult, but I don't consider it a religion either. The people sound like a bunch of nut cases - and not very nice nut cases at that.
You certainly do not need their help not to go to hell. To get into heaven you need to repent for any sins (to God, not to anyone else) and believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior. This is all between you and God.
The right church is a wonderful and great place to be, but you do not need church to go to heaven. Read the bible and pray - God will lead you. You do not need these people who treat you poorly to study God's word. You are intelligent and can do that on your own.

This is a cult if they are treating you as bad as you say they do!
You need to go to a new church!
Don't worry I PROMISE you won't go to hell
I'll be praying for you in the name of Jesus!
Please read THIS true bible instead of THAT CULT

Go to a different Church or something, just to try it out. If your parents or those people say anything be like "It's MY soul. If I'm going to believe in something it's going to be because it actually feels right to me, not because I'm scared of ridicule or damnation!"
You should do what YOU think is right, and not be afraid of them. Be brave! Trying to explore and learn are GOOD things! Don't let them tell you otherwise.

i'm not exactly sure if i think that's a cult or not...you'd have to give more examples. a lot of "religious" people are hypocrites anyway.
don't worry about going to hell. as long as you worship, no matter how or where you worship, you have a place in heaven.

Yes I do.
You will find hypocrites in every religion though.
All you really need is a person relationship with Jesus.
They are not very nice to be treating you this way, try going to a few other churches and see if you like any of those.

I just read their message on the website...this seems a rather twisted version of true metaphysics...if you want to find what metaphysics teaches, look into Religious Science or Unity, or Divine Science: these are New Thought teachings.
"Metaphysics" is an "umbrella term"; meaning that it has many uses, covering many areas of thought, and one should be careful when choosing or seeking "metaphysical" teachings.
