I thought doing sit ups and crunches would help my lower stomach become flat and I would have abs. But you have to lose the fat first, then do the weights and what nots. I suggest you run. I started eating low calorie meals and running. I lost 5lbs in a week. However, I stopped running and I gained it all back. So you really have to stick with it.
Lifting weights only tones you or make your buff, if you want to become a beef cake, then continue lifting ALOT and you have to eat alot I think. Like the body builders..not sure

Sorry but sit ups and crunches won't get you a six pack.
Don't diet. Write down what you eat, be honest and reduce what you are eating. Fill up on fruits and vegetables. They are low in calories and will help keep you feeling full.
Lifting weights is a good idea. It will help you burn more fat.

No, your diet doesn't work.
Just doing situps and crunches will not help you lose weight. They barely burn any calories, and that's what you need to be focused on. You're basically building muscle under your fat and that's about it. You need daily aerobic exercise to lose weight. That doesn't mean stop the crunches (theyre better than sit ups anyway), but pair them with some daily jogging.
Best of luck.

You need to lose the fat off of your stomach before you will be able to see the muscle. Burn 3500 calories a week and you will burn a pound of fat.

If you don't eat right now matter how hard you work you'll never get rid of the fat to reveal the sixpack.
