When I was 17, I had my first apartment across the river in Brooklyn, where I would go to the roof and stare at the Manhattan skyline. I felt a million miles away, kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Banished. I had been born and raised in Manhattan, it was all I knew.

Then I went to California, and I thought, wow, I got to see the other side of the States and saw the Pacific Ocean! I had changed multiple time zones. I thought that was far.

Then last year I went to Mexico City. So I guess my world's just expanding.

Physically -
exactly 12 time zones (180 degrees east-west) and a north south deviation of 40 degrees, i.e., almost as far as you can get, and it will be a tie for all those who have traveled extensively.

Emotionally -
reclaiming my inner child, home disappeared entirely .

Mystically -
a hair's breadth is as far as heaven is from earth....

Not far at all really, some times I just seemed to be when I was lost in the world. Dorthy the Bodhisattva and Glenda the good witch of the north showed me the way home. ~*~

Well considering home is a relative term, I've been very far out of my mind & the universe. I've travel very distant worlds & time.
At this point I can't measure distance.
