My mom asked me if I would go with my dad to drop her off to help him with the drive. I really dont want to go but I feel bad not helping him out. All my weekends in July are busy this will be my one free Saturday. Should I go? I feel guilty not helping. He is getting old.

Go. Look at it as a chance to get to know each other a little better. It's one saturday that could give you memories for a lifetime.

Is he is poor health or on any medications..? Sorry, to tell you this, but if he's not and he's just 60 yrs. old that's not really old...My step-dad is over 60 and he just rode his motorcycle cross country from Ohio ---- through Alaska... and back to Ohio. He's also a retired drill sergeant and former Army Special Forces. I would venture to say he can hold his own... He's not old..
However, if he's on special meds. prone to heart attack or stroke or any of those types of things it would probably be a nice gesture to go with him and make sure that he's all right.
