I need to know how because I dont have any money to go to a vet and I dont want it to die!

I found it outside, it is a starling. I need to know how to fix its leg myself because I dont have enough money for a vet!! Please help.

These people have the training necessary to care for injured and orphaned wild animals. They also have the permits necessary to do this. They rarely charge anything for their services, and sometimes they will even come and get the animal, saving you the effort of getting it to them.

Look in the phone book or the internet for a wild life sanctuary. They take in orphans and will treat it and release it back to the wild once it is healthy and old enough. You can also call local vets and have them refer you to a shelter, wild life refuge, or someone in the area that is licensed to take care of wild animals. You have to be careful now a days since caring for wild animals without a license can get u into trouble. Hope this helps.

Yes, take it to a wildlife rehab center, an avian rescue center, or a vet that will set the leg for free. If you don't know how to find these, call the non-emergency police line. They will know of places like these that will take the bird.

You can take a toothpick and break it in half carefully, make sure there are no pointy splinters sticking out. Next, put them around the leg carefully like so: toothpick---> | Leg | <---toothpick. Then rap it with a bit of tape. It has the same effect as a cast. Leave it on for a few days or until it heals. Good Luck.

Most vets don't charge for wildlife. Turn it in to one of them or ask them for the phone number of a local wildlife rehabber...rehabbers have vets they work closely with and will get it the care it needs. Don't set the leg yourself--it can heal wrong and be very painful.
