I started working with at this company about two weeks ago, and I overheard my mngr trying to get rid of me already. I havent done anything wrong, and I actualy havent done any work yet as I am still being trained. Unfortunately, I haveent meshed well with the team yet as it has only been two weeks. People have been talking about me getting the boot and I have been overhearing my mngr talk to the director about transfering me out of the dept or letting me go. I am tempted to quit as I dont think I want to work for someone who is going to judge me on just two weeks of being in a new job.
What do you think I should do? Should I confront my boss? Should I quit or let them fire me? HELP!

If you like this job, and you don't think you doing something wrong, confront your boss.
Ask him, if he is not happy with your job, you definitely want to know about this. Be strong, don't be afraid of him, if your boss feel you are skier, it's make him uncomfortable around you. He is same human as you are. So, go and ask him, whats wrong? Good Luck!

First, don't confront your boss. Second, take a look at how you are doing with learning the training. If you are learning what they are training you, then it may just be some personality meshing that needs to take place.
If you are learning slowly or if your trainer is repeating things several times - then you may not be learning at a pace the employer is comfortable with. You need to look at the tasks of the job and really decide if you want to learn and if you do....apply yourself to the tasks NOT the gossip.

If you are scared about being fired, you are not concentrating on your performance. If your performance is not 100% what you think you can do - get to it.

Like you said it has been 2 weeks - people always take time to size one another up - show them your skills.

I wish you luck, hang in there a bit longer to really find out.

Yikes! That is harsh. I cannot believe your manager already wants to get rid of you. Are you doing something that is disruptive to the flow of the company? I will tell you this... change is hard for some people. Whenever we get a new employee, we are over analyzing them to death. Picking them apart. But funny, after they are with the co approx 2 weeks, coworkers start to finally get to know the person.

Maybe you can get to know one person and befriend them. That's all it takes is one person.

I would also have a "courageous conversation" with your manager and ask him/her what is causing them to dislike you.

But if that fails, then definitely leave, Your happiness should mean more to you than that stressful job.

Personally, I don't think you ever want to be fired from a job. It is a blemish on a resume that you never ever want. Not disclosing it is tantamount to lieing. I also think you don't want to quit without resolving the issue. Have a candid talk with your boss. Tell him that you sense that things are not great and you want to know how you might improve. Make him think a bit....firing you is the easy way out. Put him on the spot and make him be leader, not a boss.

It would be best to have a talk with your manager.

Ask how you can fit in better & be a better team member.

I would think that you aren't picking up on the main points of the job that you are to do. Perhaps you aren't a good enough self starter. Do you always wait for some one to tell you next move?
