I would suggest you ask your priest or youth minister where the nearest St. Vincent de Paul conference is. In addition to home visits, SVdP runs thrift stores and food pantries and are always desperately short of help.
Both of these are excellent projects for teens.

Another popular project at our church for teens is to organize a sock, hat, and glove drive for the homeless over the winter months. You could do this by yourself or get together a group of other teens to help you.

this may seem like a rude answer, I am a retired elem teacher and Christian mom,but if you have to ask this at your age of confirmation which I believe is 17, you'd better pray hard. What have you learned in the last 17 years ? Read the book of James in the Bible, it is in the New Testament,The Bible has 2 parts !!
