You're wrong. Floyd Mayweather is the best boxer in the world today. Hatton will have a hard time connecting, while mayweather will use distance and his accuracy to wear Hatton down before finally, everyone starts to see a Hatton they'd never seen before. Mawweather should win by a split decision. Hatton: Mayweather will KICK your white ***!!!

Ita a good question as Hatton has the style to give Mayweather real trouble but at the same time Mayweather has the style to give Hatton fits. The worst cenerio for Hatton is that Mayweather handles him like he did Gatti but i cant see that happening as hatton is a better fighter than Gatti who had been in alot of wars and was kind of small anyway for a light welterweight. Also think of the trouble that Mayweather had with Castillo who fights a similar attacking style to Hatton. I think its possible that Hatton could cause an upset and beat Mayweather but its more likely that Mayweather gets on his bike and wins unanimously over 12 rounds.

This fight will be the same as Mayweather & Gatti. Floyd is quicker than everyone around his weight. He also is a great boxer, great defensive fighter & has a better boxing IQ than most. He will stick & jab, give Hatton movement & not allow himself to be cornered & hit. Floyd has fought other brawlers such as Baldomayer & everyone was like man this guy is big & he's going to hurt Floyd & what happend? Floyd hit him everytime he wanted to & as often as he wanted to & won an easy decision where every judge gave him every single round. This will be no different at least Baldomayer beat Zab Judah at the time.
Hatton is going after Floyd because he will make him the most money. Hatton couldn't beat Miguel Cotto, Paul Williams or Shane Mosley but those guys can't make him the money that Floyd will make him.
Floyd easy decision maybe even a late 11th round KO!!!!

I think Hatton has a great chance. People always underestimate him.
Look at the Tszyu fight. No-one gave Hatton a chance but he nailed it.
Everyone is going to say that Tszyu was past it, but as has been mentioned before, no one thought that until Hatton beat him.
Again, with Castillo, I heard most people say that if Hatton won that he'd do it on points. Fair enough, Castillo may have been past his best, but Hatton destroyed him.
As for Hatton throwing one punch and holding, I don't think that's fair at all......I've seen him produce some good combinations. Sure, he's not as technical as some boxers, but he can do what's needed.
Hatton, is durable too, cuts aside, even if the fight does go the distance, he usually comes out for the 12th looking fresh. (not counting the match against Collazo)
You have to take Hatton's attitude into consideration too. He even admits that Mayweather is the best, and that's whay he wants the fight. Mayweather seems to think Hatton is a chump, which could be the deciding factor.
Personally I think Hatton will get the job done.

LOL Some people get pretty defensive about the punk Mayweather. Hatton may not win but I doubt old garbage mouth will be able to get away with running as much as he did vs DLH.
For the good of boxing lets hope Mayweather goes the way of the other big mouths like the old Tyson, Rachman, and that other big dummy who insulted the Rock.

That would be an interesting fight. I like to watch Floyd fight, but I think he is pretty much of a jerk outside the ring. On the other hand, I hate watching Hatton in the ring with the way he throws one punch and then starts hugging his opponent. Just about as boring as John Ruiz. But when Hatton does interviews he seems like a great guy. I wouldn't know who to root for.

Pretty Boy isn't even in his own class. Who has he beaten? Old De La Hoya, Old Gatti, Judah don't even count because he sucks. Mayweather is a great fighter no doubt but he hasn't proven nothing to me by beating nobodies. Same with Hatton he hasn't proven anything to me either. I like Hatton because he isn't a showboat like Mayweather or talk so much **** like Pretty Boy. I wish Mayweather would just stfu sometimes and just go out and put a performance on for the fans and not just for himself. Mayweather wants to go down in history as the greatest, to accomplish that he needs to beat guys like Hatton, Cotto, Williams, Mosely, and Cintron. Hatton just wants to put on a good show for the fans and when his career is over all he wants is the fans to say he was a great fighter. I do believe Hatton has a chance at Mayweather. Hatton will train like crazy for this fight and Mayweather wont. Pretty Boy will underestimate Hatton and will get KO because of it. Great fight hope it goes down.

In the sport of Boxing. Once you step into the ring, it's 50/50. On the stand point of more experience, speed and power. I would have to say Mayweather, but against a foe like Hatton. One wrong move and it's good night irene.
Look at Tyson Vs Douglas. odds something like 80 to 1, Tyson Vs Holyfield. 8 to 1. You never know until that final bell rings. Bad decsions: Strum vs De La Hoya, Trinidad Vs De La Hoya, Lennox vs Holyfield 1.

i think its a case of does mayweather have a chance of beating hatton and most people on this forum wouldn't fancy his chances what you have to remember is ricky is quicker than the out dated de la hoya who should of been given the decision over mayweather so i can see ricky at the very least winning by a knockout in the late rounds of the fight if it finally happens
styles make fights and if mayweather only just got the decision against someone of de la hoya's style he isn't going to be favourite fighting against ricky hattons.
