Each religion has there advantages and disadvantages. I personally am Christian. I believe in the Christian God and the morals and values that come along with the religion. The Bible has more factual bassis than any other religion based book in my opinion.

Other religions do have good advantages. For example, Islam is very well structured. Its not too complicated to understand their sects and everything.

No matter what religion you get into it will be complicated at first. Its something you have to work at. You have to find a religion that BEST suits your beliefs and values. Once you have found that then you can find your place within that religion.

Don't rush into picking a religion. Take your time. And remember that everyone has doubts about their faith. .so study hard once you pick something and make sure that your faith can withstand your strongest doubts. That's one main way how you'll know if you've found the right one for you.

I don't believe in religion. I believe in having a relationship with God. I'm not going to follow a bunch of rules that a group of people set up for me. My relationship with God is simliar but not the same as anybody else that I know. I get to know God by talking to him, reading the Word, and praising and worshiping him. I'm going to follow the guidelines that Christ set for me not anyone else. "I only want to do what I see my Father in heaven doing"
Besides religion is part of the reason Jesus was crucified. They said the rules were that he couldn't heal on the Sabbath, well, instead they could have praised God for someone being set free and healed, etc.
If you pray everyday and develop that relatioship and intamacy that you have with God, don't worry about religion. If you haven't already, find a church that allows you to use the gifts God has given you, so that you can help grow the kingdom of heaven.
Blessings and peace to you.

There is no such thing as the best religon becuase a religion is jsut someones belifes, so why say taht one is better above another. That is basicly telling soemone tht they cant bleive in something that they do.
I belive there is soemthign greater then myself, bcuase i think if there was sucj thing as i god, then why wouldn the be on earth fighting our own wars, helping people with canver, curing uncurable deseases, and all thease things god or another religon one person is reconised. If there was that person, then what is that person really doing for you but waisting your time by thinking that that person is going to take care of everything you are worrying about and do absolutly nothing but leave you in the same state you were in in the first place?

I definently agree with you. I pray every single night and have a great relationship with God, at least I believe I do. But I dont like defining myself as a certain religion! Relgion is kind of evil to me. People shouldn't take the same thing and break it up so many times and in so many different ways. At the end of the day, it all comes down to one truth. There is one God, He made all of us whether some people like it or not, church is soo not necessary (not bad either but not necessary).... Etc. Its just how things are :)

You seem to be spiritual but not religious. I am much the same. I think the two can be in conflict because religion involves dogma for the rational part of our mind. But spirituality is found much deeper. Still, I lean toward the eastern religions such as Buddhism. They exist for our sake. We our not taught to be ashamed of ourselves. And they do a better job of promoting peace than do the Abrahamic faiths.

i'm a newly devoted wiccan. believe it or not this is not about worshipping the devil. we're called "witches," but thanks to hollywood, that has become a negative connotation to the faith. i believe as this faith believes...that God has created everything, that everything living is a creation of God, that all living things must be respected and appreciated. organized religion tends to lead to worshipping God in a more organized or "dictated" manner than what is in each person's heart. we are responsible for ourselves. God gave us free will and it's up to us just what we do with our lives, based on the knowledge we gain by seeking it out. God is our only judge, not the Pope, not a minister or rabbi or priest, but Him alone. wiccan faith is the closest to that concept, which is why i'm pursuing the knowledge of that faith. i've been at it for about five years now and have not yet turned away. hope this gave you what you were looking for. good luck and blessed be.

most organized religion has an evil side to it - and most , put each other down for their beliefs . i cant tell you who is right or wrong , and quite frankly - i believe they all twist it to make themselves feel holier than the next . the way i see it - i pray , i believe , and i know i need God to make it thru this world . but i dont need someone to tell me what to believe . -- or have someone try and brainwash me into thinking their way is the only way . thats simply not true . --- the last thing you need is some yahoo - from yahoo answers to tell you what religion to be , or what you should believe in your heart . -- what ya ought to do ya see is ---- pray for God to lead you in the right direction . ---

I don't follow anything. Also, I don't consider any religion any better than the other, though there certainly are some things that could possibly need revision. I believe (or non-believe) in what I do because it seems to make the most sense to me, and have come to my decision on my own accord.
