My Puppy dont eat his pet food before he eats it now he dont.Than when he gets something new he eats it but than stops all of a sudden?

You will cause him to be a picky eater by constantly changing his diet, and he will get an upset stomach. Just stick with a good name brand puppy food and offer it to him 3 times a day until he is 6 months old, then twice a day. If he is happy and playful, he will eat it when he is hungry. Has he been to a vet yet to be checked for worms?

when my Shituz was younger she was feed pedigree dry food for puppies. Then she got where she didn't like it So we changed her food to a package gourma pedigree food, but it gave her loose stools even though she liked it. Now we have her on "soup for the soul for dogs" dry food & mix it with a little bit of "science diet" can food. We heat the can food in th microwave for 10 seconds & mix it with the "soup for the soul for dogs & spritz it with a little water low sodium beef or chicken broth. She is a very finaky eater & this is theonly dog food she'll eat. You can get both the chicken soup for dogs & the canned science food in a pet store or ask you vet if he/she carries it. Hope this hepls you. Right now our shituz is 9 yrs. old, but looks like a puppy yet.

my dog is a possible Shih Tzu mix (really it's anybody's guess) but he goes through spurts with food, some days he wolfs it down and other days he shows no interest.
i give him both canned and dry food, so what i do: i have two containers one for the canned, one for dry and i put them out at the same time every day. if he doesn't eat the canned stuff by the next morning, i throw it out. i leave the dry out in case he does get hungry.
good luck, i didn't know what to do at first, but the dog seems to know when to eat, so now i don't worry.

Dont keep changing the puppies diet, buy a quality puppy food and stick with it for the first year

I HAVE A SHITUZ DOG AND HE IS VERY FUSSY,i GIVE HIM CHIICKEN OFF THE DRUMSTICKS AND HE LOVES GOODO'S DOG FOOD AND FRESH MINCE,ALSO A LITLE DRY CAT FOOD,HOPE THAT HELPS
