depends on what you're sharing. If it's your homework, it's sharing. If it's music of a CD that you didn't pay for, it's stealing.

Stealing. Unless you created what ur sharing. If you went Sprawl-Mart and pocketed the latest CD from your favorite artist. Is that stealing or sharing? Did you pay the person for all the work they did to make the music you love..or your favorite movie you're watching? would you keep going to work knowing some stranger is gonna take a chunk out of your paycheck every single week just because they feel like it?

It's file sharing if you are sharing your own creations with the world. It's stealing if you share someone else's creations.
But we're all guilty of it, so don't feel too bad...

file sharing is not illegal, nor stealing, if you already own the content in which you are downloading or sometimes its legal if you delete it within 24 hours, and in certain country's its completely legal to share

like p2p networks, well its supposed 2 be sharing, but its stealing if u get music, and other forms of media without paying for them. if u already own the content and want to dl a copy of its its technically fair use, but the mpaa, n riaa still see it as stealing
