Which color are you getting? If you're getting the aqua color (I think PB calls it "pool"), you might try accessorizing with shades of brown. It's a really hot combination right now...here's a photo of a rug in that combo. I don't mean you should buy the rug---just checkout the colors

Any pastel color would look really nice with it. Maybe a pale blue or pale purple. You can use leftover paint to repaint decorations to match the room, so you can bring the colors out more.

It depends on which color bedspread you choose. Paint is inexpensive but has a huge impact---go bold in your choice! If you don't like it, paint it again.
I would generally avoid the faux finishes and murals though...those can get tiresome really fast and look cheap. Look through the magazines and catalogs you like to get inspiration!

1] choose a soft contrast - for the aqua, use:
light pink
peach
soft yellow
light lime
lavender
2] add curtains or drapes in the wall colors with tiebacks in spread colors, or vice versa
3] add any other color you want to include in rug, pillows, chair, throw, candles, vase, and for matte in pictures.

orange. Not pure orange, but a pale or burnt orange.
That would be cool.
