How can I convert a dvd i hav to ipod format using VLC media player?

plz help.

it converts, it has before lol, sumone else did it tho, so i forgot how when they taught me, i just wanna convert a dvd in my drive to ipod. to clear sum things up to others.

not to be rude, but how do i do that? When i tried i had nothing telling me what was converting cept a thing that goes 00:00:33 to 00:00:60 constantly but didnt do anything for like 30 minutes so i dont think it worked then.

Try to covert your dvd to an avi format. Then covert from avi to mov.
