It can, but it can also bring a couple together. Most men start a relationship with lust, and it slowly turns into love with the right partner. Then the sex gets repetitive and you start to wander, but the love and friendship that has been built up keeps us loyal, sometimes.

Usually sex doesn't ruin a relationship, but once the sex is bad every other problem in a relationship feels worse

Lack of communication, financial strain, differing and unwavering opinions, lying, cheating....those are some of the main things that ruin relationships.
Sex....it's a big step in a serious relationship, but it often brings people closer together.
