i've hear that alcohol would work since thats basicly what nail polish remover is made of. if you want and have lots of time, you can take a nail filer and sratch that top layer off. i would just go buy some remover.

no other chemicals can be used, unless you have paint remover, which is pure acetone the ingredient in nail polish remover that causes it to break down the polish....alcohol DOES NOT WORK! my suggestion to you is a nail file....just file it all off, even after i remove nail polish from nails i still use a file to get the rest of the residual color off nails, but the first person that answered was correct you can get a good amount off by using wet nail polish...the best way to do that is to start adding a coat of wet nail polish and you will see that the original will start to streak, then quickly wipe it off, only do one nail at a time, bcuz the fresh coat will dry before you get to the second nail...good luck

In a pinch I get tape and put it on my nails and pull it off. It works pretty good, you can always just paint over the polish, if the old color is not too dark.

soak you nails in hot water for about a minute or two (unless you put it on really think then maybe longer) the heat of the water will start to soften the nail polish and you should be able to peel off the nail polish after you soak them i while i know it always works for me

not any that will not spoil ur nails. scrapping can remove it but will make ur nails thin and uneven coz its removing the top layer of ur nail. the same thing with alcohol. its too strong for ur nails and cuticle and dries out the nails

If you put wet nail polish on it, then wipe, it will come off.

Rubbing alcohol works.
Also you can just use your fingernails and scratch it off. Though don't do it often, it can damage your fingernails!
