Well, i agree with some of the previous answers- i believe it is supposed to show the guy doing the same thing as everyone else and not being an individual, BUT
i interpretted it as a political comment on global warming and the massive deforestation that is happening right now, and how each and every person contributes the the harm being done to this planet, until of course we each personally decide to change our ways and contribute to a better life and a better planet.....
just my opinion.
just want to say, i still think it's a wierd commercial. NO man should ever be allowed to wear pippi longstocking braids!!!! haha

See, the kicking the trees is the supposed mindless thing that EVERYONE is doing.
That wendy's guy is like... Wait, i dont have to kick a tree because everyone else is...
That translates into... Wendy's doesn't have to use frozen burgers like everyone else. Wendy's makes "Hot, Juicy Burgers"

ok basically they are sayin to be a non-conformist they are tryna put in your head that if ur doin the same thing other ppl are doin ur a conformist and they want you to do somethin different like eatin there food and this is alos satire makin fun of somethin ppl do to to change it
