how do i tell my father that ive found my soul mate and im getting married without havig them never speak to me again or wish me bad luck by the way im 21 i take care of myself.

Tell him you found your soul mate and you are getting married. Be sure that getting married is the right thing for you at this point of your life. Can you afford to support yourself and a spouse? Because even if she has a job she could need to take time off work.... for pregnancy or other reasons. Are you ready to totally settle down? Have you acheieved the basics to be on your way to having a stable career or do you need to finish school? If you have a set plan then approach your dad with it and let him know that this is serious and you are capable of such a big life change. Good luck!

Methinks you may be being a tad immature here. If you truly have found your soulmate, he/she would bring out the best in you and your father would probably be thrilled. If he's not, then he either just needs the chance to get to know him/her OR you just need to grow a backbone and learn to be comfortable with your own decisions. Encourage your love and your father to spend time together, if possible, so that thy can get to know each other better. If that falls through, then you just have to accept it and hope for better things in the future.

It's your life not your father's life. You can just tell him and wait for the reaction good or bad in your eyes. That's all. Just say it.

Just tell him and if he gets mad just say "Shouldnt you be happy for me? Im not a little kid anymore, I make my own choices, and if the choices turn out bad, I learn from my mistakes".

Just brake it to them easily if you have your own place invite them over for dinner or something and during their visit tell them but say "keep an open mind please" and its better if it's just you not you and your girlfriend or fiancee. Tell them that your all grown up, responsible, and take care of your self.
