The range: 20-30% of your calories should come from fat. So for a 1800 calorie diet that should be 360-540 calories. One should try to keep to that range. I aim for 25% per day. Sometimes I am under and sometimes over.

no less than 20% of the daily calories should be derived from fats. low fat diets cause a decrease in testosterone production which causes a decrease in the metabolic rate and the amount of fatty acids that are utilized for energy. also with less levels of ciculating androgens there is also a decrease in muscle mass and strength

you should be on a 40-40-20 diet 40% come from protein 40% from carbs and 20% from fat us above websight to find your BMR then multiply by .2 to get the number of calories from fat
