I'm glad it failed. The majority of AMERICANS didn't want it. The Senators that did vote for it should be remembered come election day. That includes a few Presidential candidates.
I'm just afraid the next bill will be worse.

Glad it's gone.. however I do think it gave me a sense of unity to know so many Americans and Legal Immigrants stood up and fought for what they wanted.. and made their voices heard

I think it was the wrong bill. It would have been very bad for the country. Our schools, services, and wage levels can only take so much pressure, and that bill would have ruined all three.

I have a sense of mild relief - and surprise - that the Amnesty Bill was blocked.

I'm also kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop...
