"L'homme aux bras ballants" = The man with dangling arms

"baller" used to mean 'to dance' around the 12th Century. Spelling with two 'L'. Ballant is also considered close to 'balance'. Spelling with one 'L'. (1)

"Comptine d'un autre été" = Nursery rhyme from another summer

Comptine: both in English and in Fr. these children's songs carry the idea of rhythm, which a way of counting (= 'compter') time.
