My family was planning to go on a trip for one day
Somewhere in the New York State that is great for the family
For example, sightseeing... boating.... other activities
But, it has to be in New York State and like a place where it's worth to go.

How about Taghannock falls? I'm not sure I spelled it right, but anyways I went there with my family, and it was fantastic! You walk for awhile up this big canyon, and water flows down it, and sometimes it gathers in pools. You swim in them and then go on, and at the end there's this HUGE waterfall, and the water is REALLY deep! Enjoy your day trip, wherever it is!
