haha.. i see the racist card is being played again by a couple of the answers here. this just cracks me up. They miss the whole point. These people are illegally here and breaking the law. It doesn't matter to me what race a person is, but if they are doing something illegal, they should not be rewarded for it!! They should not be granted amnesty!! I don't have a problem with any person who is here legally, works hard to have a good life for themselves and their families. I just have a problem with people who are illegally here and then cry, whine, pout, and complain about how they are being treated poorly. The whole argument i have against illegal immigrants is the illegal part.. not the immigrant part!!

If they have the b**ls to burn our flag or hang it upside down, they don't need to be in America. We take pride in America. If they don't have enough pride and hang the Mexican flag up high and turn ours upside down, they definitely need to go back to Mexico. Us wanting them deported has nothing to do with being a racist. I don't care if you're in my country, where your from, or how you got here, but you better d**b well do legally like our ancestors did.

Don't be so hard on illegal immigrants. These people have been duped by US corporations who lure them here to work for substandard wages in substandard conditions on the ruse that they are somehow entitled to rip off the citizenry by pirating social services and health care to make up the difference in their pay.

The citizenry is just becoming wise to the fact that the corporate bottom lines look great, but that we are being shafted twice, by companies that keep wages lower for both legal and illegal workers, yet charge us full price (or close to it) while sucking out the difference in profits and CEO salaries.

So, if I were an illegal, I'd hold those companies' feet to the fire to help the people they employ become legal citizens. Since I am a legal citizen, I want to jail corporate paymasters and others who employ illegal workers, because they are the ones who create the conditions that incurs overuse of social services, crowded emergency rooms, and illegal immigrant criminals growing pot on US national parkland.

I think your angry with the wrong people. They are here to try and feed their families and provide a better life. If you want to be angry at anyone, it should be big business that's paying off our politicians to vote. As long as big business pays off the politicians to keep the cheap labor in our country, we will never see any changes. I agree that the immigration has become a tremendous strain our health care and welfare programs, but i don't think the illegals are our problem. Our new slogan should be "In The Almighty Dollar We Trust"

thats only b/c we are almost at the end of bushes term so nothing will change till the new pres comes in. i think a lot of it has to do with the fact they just want to go against bush. it wont stay like this the next law will probably be worse.hopefully they will get no rights.

Maybe Chief Justice Roberts will permit the execution of illegals against the ACLU's wishes. He is a great Chief Justice. I love what he wrote today about affirmative action which should have always been illegal.

They'll do all 4 things probably!

There is a slight chance that they might realize that the U.S. is "unfair" and cry and pout and maybe move back to their own country. But with the wages here in the U.S. compared to Mexico I doubt it!

according to most of the people here we will:
1.continue feeding off welfare
2.keep making anchor babies
3.keep stealing your jobs
4.keep on committing crimes.
5.ask for money outside freeways.....oh wait no thats not us!

ha ha ha
we will continue fighting!
and now that this bill for legalizing illegals and better securing the borders is dead, more illegals will continue immigrating.
mission successful.
