At 5'8" and 140, you can't have a very good base to start with. I would recommend bulking up to at least 180lb to start. I mean no offense, that is just my recommendation based on my own experience of trying to get lean and not really having enough muscle tissue in the first place.

But to answer your question more directly, if you are trying to lean out, you should distribute your caloric intake according to a 35/10/55% intake of protein/carbs/fat. This is your CALORIE distribution. A gram of fat has 8-9 calories while a gram of protein and carbs only has 4 calories. You gotta make sure those fats are healthier fats though as well (Olive oil, fish oil, flax oil, etc.). You will also need to be on a restricted calorie diet of no more than 2000 calories but probably closer to 1500.

So I'm a gorgeous lively character and realize alot in this. Ok to peer potent outcome u you have to get a club at a health club or exersiae a few how a way. I could keep in mind approximately 12-thirteen energy in line with lb of body weight. You could also be tempted to drop your energy to 1200 however that can positioned u on a halt to your weight reduction ambitions. As your frame weight drops shall we say each and every 10 lb alter your calorie consumption via 12-thirteen energy in line with lb. Now your protein consumption will have to be approximately 35% of your everyday energy. Evidence indicates that a vitamin top in protein results in better fats loss. Your carb consumption will have to be round 35% of your everyday energy and your fats consumption will have to be the remainder 25%. You might believe that reducing out all fats could be the fast method to fats loss however is actully unsafe to it and might preclude it from taking place. But decide on your fat accurately and cautiously most likely from nuts, avocados, olive oil, entire eggs, and different meals like that. This will take awile however u will ultimately see a difference simply keep it up and youll be well.
