I'll be running 30-40 minutes every day.
Will that make my legs muscular?
If so is there any way to achieve lean looking legs without them looking muscular?

They won't look muscular. They probably won't look that much different from how they look now except a little firmer. I run a lot but I would say the reason I have big legs is because of genetics. Look up the female sprinter Allyson Felix. Her legs are very lean but they aren't bulging or veiny.

The running will help with the leanness, especially if you take long strides, but it won't make your legs muscular. You'd have to do something a little closer to resistance weight training for that.

Long distance works the white mucles tissue, it will not look muscluar if you do long runs, it will burn a lot of fat
Sprints will make your legs more muscular, but since women hve estrogen, it'll probably take a couple of years of training to finally see the muscle
Sprints work the red muscle tissue

Well, depending on your body type, your results will vary.

Males will tend to have more muscle show than females (running that amount).

Personally, my legs are mostly the same, a bit firmer, and you can definitely tell that they are running legs because of the muscle line in your thigh and nicer calves...

it will if you do it for a long time as in for years but only for like 6 months they will only get stronger. if you want muscular legs run like what u say for years

in short, you dont need to wory about that one bit. it takes a good 2 years of hard training to make leg muscles noticeable.

they wont get big and bulky just firm. running will make them look better
