when you look at a rose do you notice the thorns or the flower first, why is that anyways?

the thorns because they're so big. and i always get stabbed by them. unless it's a purple rose then it's so beautiful i just don't care.

woah good question its all philosophical. haha
I tend to look for the thorns first because I am cautious and very timid.
maybe depending on the type of person they see the rose differently
like the optimistic would see the color of the flower first while others wouldnt care because they know it will die soon anyways.

I guess there is no REAL answer to your questions rather its a way you look at life and know the difference happy from sad and good from bad.I hope this helps you =]

As the saying goes, a rose is a rose. There are a few that have little or no thorns, but it doesn't take much to remove them.
