I refer that brain shock from antidepressants would probably be a syndrome called Serotonin syndrome. It occurs in people taking or abusing different antidepressants together or in very higher doses. Most of the antidepressants works by increasing the serotonin levels ,a neurotransmitter in brain cells. The features of serotinin syndrome are rapid onset of altered mental state(e.g loss of consciousness, confusion, drowsiness) ,sweating, rapid heartbeat, nausea, diarrhea, muscular abnormalities like rigidity etc.
