i am capable of taking care of myself, would never depend on a man for his money, yet men seem to love the golddigger type bitches. what gives?

Men like to have control and they dont like the fact that you are in control of your life and dont need a man to take care of you. So until you find a man that really loves you and likes the fact that you are an independent woman and a man that really understands that ur a independent woman dont worry about them men that are intimidated by you.

Because most of them don't have the confidence themselves that a strong woman would have. They don't want to face the music and work on something that might be hard, like a relationship with a woman who is worth it. Easy women don't put up much of a fight and they are a lot more superfulous then an honest decent girl.

Nonsense. In the real world people use the word 'misogyny' very rarely. If you are being called a misogynist frequently, it's probably because you are less free-thinking and more bound up in traditional sexist stereotypes than you think, and use the concept of 'political correctness' as a smokescreen to try to place the blame on others and to justify your thoughts and behaviour.

Because independent women r guard and show signs to a guy that they r not intrested. Most guys dont know how to deal with this type of behavior so they go for the stupid less guarded women. Dont worry wen u get a guy and im sure u will he will b very special and know how to deal with it.

I can't speak for everyone with a "y" chromosome, but I PREFER strong independent women. Nothing is more alluring, mysterious, or erotic than a woman with confidence and self-reliance who is driven and ambitious.

because gold diggers depend on the guys. They like to feel like a woman NEEDS them. You could up and leave them one day and be ok on your own no problem, but the other kind of woman are clingy and need the guy for everything and would most likely never leave them (untill they run out of money of corse) To make it short, guys are stupid. lol

I have found most of the guys I have dated to have been initially attracted to me because of my Independence then once we were together, it became, to them, my major flaw.I have always felt that there is a difference in wanting someone than needing someone. They crave to be needed and to be depended on.
