I love to learn since it will better me to grow with this company and learning is how I will become your best employee . Or learning is how I will become a manager for this company. or learning is how I will become the best cashier. what ever you are going for step it up and make them want you.
You need to sell yourself to this person. Remember they are asking one thing so if you can put a few things into one anwser that is even better. not two answers but one answer that meets their needs.

What they want to know, is what you can do for them.
What's special about your skills, experience, attitude?
Anyone can pack boxes, serve customers, make widgets, etc.
DO NOT tell them you just need the money!
